BACKGROUND

Johnson & Johnson’s Risperdal is an antipsychotic medicine aimed to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, as well as other mental disorders found in teens to adults. The drug has dangerous side effects, including, but not limited to, strokes, gynecomastia, heart attacks, bone loss and self harm. The manufacturers have been subjects to thousands of lawsuits due to these risks.
